The Project

To process raw data from Excel Spreadsheets and add the data to a SQL Database. The raw data consisted of 96 excel spreadsheets. The import process executed on average 10,000 SQL statements per spreadsheet, with an average of 620,000 SQL statements for the all of the spreadsheets. Each stage of the import process required bespoke ASP scripts to be written.

The database was designed for an internal audience.
